Why on earth did this dull dull story of a horse's experience of the Great War [sic] ever make it past the Director's desk?

Ah yes. Giant puppet horses. That'll keep the children entertained, even if the three hours of dreary dialogue and otherwise absent effects fail to do so.

Shame the pine ponies didn't have that effect on me. *yawn*
